We're an owner-led accountancy firm based in Tunbridge Wells, working with owner-managed businesses across the South East. Every package, every conversation, every decision is built around one idea: that good accountancy gives you clarity, peace of mind, and the freedom to focus on what actually matters.

FOUNDER’S NOTE

The gap that started Motion

I spent my first decade in accountancy speaking to clients once or twice a year, mostly to get the details we needed for year-end accounts. That was largely it.

Meanwhile, those same clients were making real-time decisions, like whether to hire, when to take on debt and how much they could safely pay themselves, without real-time information.

I built Motion to bridge this gap. Compliant, efficient accounting, coupled with the planning and clarity owners need to make better decisions today, and build the freedom they're working towards.

    PRACTICE MANAGER

    As part of the client support team, Sarah helps our clients with the day-to-day admin and company secretarial side of your accounts, from chasing the information we need, to filing approved accounts and confirmation statements, and liaising with HMRC and Companies House on your behalf.

  • Inna

    CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT & CLIENT MANAGER

    Inna is a qualified accountant who gets involved in a bit of everything. That means reviewing and preparing tax returns and accounts, and being on hand when you've got questions on tax, limited company matters, CIS or payroll.

  • Rebecca

    MARKETING MANAGER

    Rebecca is the person behind most of what you read from Motion Accountancy: the website, newsletters and LinkedIn. She keeps things clear, useful and free of jargon. She's also the one who'll occasionally reach out to see how we’re doing, because client feedback matters to us.
